Queen Silvia Nursing Award scholars to be honoured during an award ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden on April 19, 2018.
For the fifth consecutive year, scholars of Queen Silvia Nursing Award will be honoured during a ceremony in the presence of HM Queen Silvia of Sweden. This year’s scholars are Rebecca Eriksson from the Swedish Red Cross University College, Katri Sajama from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Finland, Aldona Reczek-Chachulska from Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland and Berit Ehmann from Evangelische Fachschule für Altenpflege in Germany.
The scholars will receive their award from HM Queen Silvia during a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Media representatives are invited to attend on April 19, 2018 at 10.00 AM in the Bernadotte Library.
Queen Silvia Nursing Award is a scholarship for nursing students in Sweden, Finland, Poland and Germany that was founded in 2013 as a gift to HM Queen Silvia of Sweden with the intention and purpose of increasing awareness of and focus on good care of the elderly. The scholarship constitutes of 6 000 € and an individualized internship, granted annually to nursing students from Sweden, Finland and Poland.
